Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Pat Sutphin found a passion for visual storytelling at an early age. That passion grew into a career. After graduating from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism, Sutphin moved to Idaho to begin his life in the newspaper industry. For the past several years he has worked as a staff photographer at both the Post Register and the Times-News.
As a photojournalist Sutphin is required to be well-versed in all aspects of photography, especially event coverage and portraiture. His ability to adapt to any situation, coupled with his unique style of visual storytelling, creates compelling images that are truly one-of-a-kind. When it comes to recording your history — to preserving a moment in time — choose the photographer with the experience to get the job done.
